During my summer 2023 internship training, I was assigned to create either a fyler or invitation card for an event or exibit inside any NYC museum. I chose the Van Gog's Cypresses exhibit by the MET. The exhibit showcased Van Gogh's most earliest work on cypresses, never seen by the public, from sketches to earliest paintings... This Invitation card would be mailed to MET members and also handed out at the musuem.
The Illustrations in image 1A (which is the back of the card) were created in my own style inspired by two of Van Gogh's most famous paintings and image 2A (which is the front of the card) has one of his paintings to give the viewers an idea of what type of artworks they would look at in the exhibition.
